Yoga and the Healing Sciences
A 200-Hour Teacher Training Program
at Loyola Marymount University
Designed to be accessible to people who currently work part/full time jobs and people who have familial responsibilities, the Yoga and the Healing Sciences 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training course is segmented into 10 weekends from August 17, 2012 – December 9, 2012. The ten weekends include 8/17-19, 8/24-26, 9/14-16, 9/21-23, 10/12-14, 10/19-21, 11/9-11, 11/16-18, 11/30-12/2 and 12/7-9.
Classes meet Fridays from 6 PM – 9:30 PM, Saturdays from 10 AM – 6 PM and Sundays from 9 AM – 4 PM. In order to successfully graduate from the program, students may miss up to 2 full weekends or 6 days. Participants are additionally expected to go to one yoga class per week outside of the training and complete one hour per week of Karma Yoga.
The tuition for the course is $3195. It may be paid in full by registering online or at the registrar’s office at LMU. A payment plan option is available by paying half of the tuition at the beginning of the program and the second half midway thru the program.
